MEXICO!
Mexico, it is a very warm and sunny destination to visit, when you are deciding on a place to go on vacation.
Officially the United Mexican States. Federal republic in North America. Boarded on the north by the United states. On the south and west by the pacific ocean. Spanish speaking.
General description of laws:
1. No fireworks may be thrown by hand during holy week.
2. It is illegal to shout any offensive words in any public place.
3. Any kind of nude artist display is illegal.
4. Women who work for the goverment of the city of Guadalajara, may not wear mini skirts or any other "provacitive" garment during office hours.
5.Bicicle riders may not lift either foot from the peddles as it may result in loss of control.
The rights and responsibilities of ttravellers:
Vaccinations: Yellow fever vaccination is required for travellers who are arriving from, or have transited through countries with risk of yellow fever transmission.
Passport validity: You must carry your passport with you when travelling through countries.
Travelling with children: Making sure your children have passport(s) is important. Making sure they are safe.
Importing meat or or dairy products: Making sure you check what you can and cannot bring when travelling.
Emergency travel documents: Having knowledge on what you can and cannot bring such as food.
View on women in mexico.
Women in mexico are constantly changing! Their is a belief that women should be submissive to men. Great strides have been successfully taken by Mexican women towards gaining rights politically. In my opinion women should always have the same RIGHTS as men.
How is canada different from Mexico?
Mexico is obviously very differe from Canada in MANY ways.
Religion in mexico is very much a long Roman catholic tradition, and in canada their is mixed religions!
Education in Mexico a rigid, broad cirriclum and in Canada the education is narrow, in-depth specialization.
Nationalism in Mexico very nationalistic and reluctant to settle outside of Mexico. Canada has a very large world view.
Personal sensitivity in Mexico is shuns confrontation, difficulty seperating work and personal relationships and sensitive to differences to opinion. Canada seperates work from emotions/personal relationships, tough business front and has difficulty with subtetly.
How is Mexico different to Canada?
Mexico is different then Canada in many ways. Different religion, different hobbies, different jobs.. Pretty much everything is different, and it is a whole new world.
How is Mexico the same as Canada?
Canada is a very multicultural country. Everyone pretty much respects everyone, and people are used to Canada having so many different people in this country. We all get along. In Mexico I'm sure evryone gets along also because of tourists and people often visiting Mexico for vacation!

There are issues that may occur when travelling in and out of Mexico, like identification, items that you may want to bring back and how many items.

The jail is like any other jail. There are scary things that happen in mexican jails.

If you are in trouble you may want to get legal assistance. To get documents replaced take some time and you might have to stay a couple more days then you originally planned.
